I’m often asked for recommendations on law firms, but this topic is too broad to be covered as it’s impossible for me to recommend an attorney/firm in every portion of the United States.

Instead, the best advice I have is to thoroughly search the internet. Bad reviews stick out and are expensive and hard to cover up. Seek out every negative review you can find and see if they have merit.

When searching for a lawyer in Google, don’t stop looking after the first few results. Instead, navigate through the first few pages of Google. Lawyers will often pay marketing companies to help “bury” their bad reviews.

Therefore, these reviews will often hang out on the lower pages of Google. This is my favorite tip when doing research on competing law firms, or when suggesting attorneys to clients, family, and friends.

Ultimately the decision is yours, so make sure you are thorough in your research.
